I'm real nervous the Dr. from the evaluation center comes out tomorrow to see Robbie. They have me spinnin' far as what they want from us. They have increased Robbie's therapy sessions of speech, physical as well as occupational therapy. I know what they're doing for him and what we're doing here on the homefront is the best for him. I have this thought at the back of my mind of "when does he get to be a kid?".....seems like the poor guy is always in therapy, being told what to do and when to do it. I like to watch him just play and do what he loves most... playing with his trains. He loves Thomas The Tank Engine. I'm always looking for more to add to his collection. I wonder is there more lol. Seems like he has it all, but I know he really doesn't have it all. He's got a large collection. I think in the 3 1/2 years almost 4 years at this point he's managed to only get two of the same things in his collection. He's so thoughtful because when he noticed it he decided that the other one should go to his school so the children there in his class could play with it. Then he decided that wasn't enough he started going through his toys and decided what should stay and what should go to school. He really gave a lot to the school. I really commend him on that because for him to understand the concept and not be asking for his toys back was a big thing.
I just want to thank all that follow my blog and the ones that visit that stay in touch with us and what's going on. I appreciate the support very much!!! Our family thanks you as a whole and I know if Robbie were here and I were reading this to him he'd say, "Mama I am thankful too." He's a real sweetie!!! Thank you again!!
