Reading In The Bathtub Day!!

Don't forget to stop over to my friend's blog. Karel is celebrating all this month for her birthday. We are helping her to celebrate. She has so much fun going on there. Many surprises. You'll have to stop by daily to see what she has in store. To get there just click the birthday button and you'll be there in no time.

Now on to the special day; "Reading in the Bathtub Day!"  I wanted to do something to be fun.  I used an embellishment that was from a RAK.  I am so grateful to those that have the RAK's; they're "angel's".  I say that because what they give may not have been something we ourselves would have purchased.  When we make something sometimes it's that one thing that it's missing ~ you go digging in your stash and you come across something that was from a RAK and it's perfect.  I love how that happens.

I want to thank friends, family and my Design Team Friends and a special thank you to Karel.  I say this because it's been a very tough year and a half for me from losing my Father (I love you Dad! I love you Pa!), my Grandad, My Aunt Lynn, then my Aunt Betty. I had been in a slump if you will about making cards and designing. I just haven't really had the motivation.  I just want to thank those that "pushed" in the most gentle way of course to get me going again.  I say a special thank you to Karel for having me as a member of her Design Team.  That was a great motivation for me.  Thank you so much Karel!!!  Thank you everyone involved with helping me!!! Hugs to you all!!!!!

Now here is my card I made today with the recipe:

Card Recipe:

Sunflowers & Paper from a RAK
The bathtub is from Heritage Cricut Cartridge, cut at 2.25"
The head (ok that made me laugh *note after) was also from Heritage.
The hair is from Paper Dolls for Everyday, cut at .66
Stickles on the bubbles, Inked with Ink It Up! French Blue

*My husband was working on a job site for his work (he did security work at the time). He had to go into the lab at this place; he was walking out when a girl approached him (she didn't know he was a private contractor); said, "Can you go get my head?" (haha, sorry couldn't hold that back- he gets squeamish just when you say you cut yourself) He said, "Uhh, no! You can go get it. I'm headin' out of here." Let me tell ya he picked up his pace to get out of there too.

Thanks for stopping by...hope you had a nice laugh.

**This is something I don't get to do and haven't for 10 years now --- no bathtub's in my house.  We just have showers!! **

Have a Happy Cricut Day,
