All American Blog Hop!!!

Posted by Leah

I am so happy to have you hopping with us.   I hope you have enjoyed what you've seen so far.  We have all been busy working on our projects and we will continue to have more things to show you.  If you just stumbled here or you came for a visit ~ welcome!! I would hate for you to miss out on so much.  You should stop over to Jenny at CrazyAboutCricut to start at the beginning then work your way back here.  I love visitors!

If you have just come from Ruby Rose at Paper Junkie then you are in the right place.  I know Ruby has some wonderful projects on her blog.  She is so inspiring.

Here is the project that I made for this hop.  I hope you like what you see.  I made a card with the word Freedom on it.  I didn't have Graphically Speaking Cartridge that had this on it so I used Plantin School Book Cricut Cartridge to get the same word.  I love playing with the Gypsy or Design Studio.  Recently I have been playing in the Cricut Craft Room.  I have been having lots of fun with all three of these.  Now on to the pictures for you.
Hehehe!  Now the first one I have to tell you I had fun with my editing software. I thought this looked cool either way.  This way it looks like a flag, but my card is all

I used an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of standard cardstock in the navy blue.  I then scored that at the 5 1/2" mark.  Then I layered the inside with the paper choices I had.  I then cut the word Freedom from Plantin School Book as I said.  I layered it and put small pop dots to give some dimension to it.  Thank you for looking.  I hope that you have enjoyed our hop so far.

Now before I let you go I must tell you that there are some GREAT prizes to win today! You can win a Scrap-N-Tote! You can also enter to win this AWESOME prize pack from Post-it or a set of Pink by Design Stamps. Hello Leah. I just happened to be hopping around and found your blog. I LOVE it. This card is so amazing. The first one is really cool with the ripply effect. What software did you use to get that effect???? There is so much dimension on your card and I love the way you arranged the letters. Just beautiful and so patriotic. I am going to go back and join in on the hop. Glad to have found you and will be back often. New follower here:)
